The following novena was written to Our Lady by Christina Martinez, March 2000.
Novena to the Blessed
Virgin Mary
O Virgin Mary, Dearest Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ, I
pray that through your intercession the world may come to know your Son, Our Lord and
Savior, and the Truths He taught.
O Blessed Virgin Mary, you know the merits and rewards of following God's will when you
answered, "be it done to me according to thy word." I wish to emulate your
faith and confidence in God by living my life according to His will.
O Most Blessed Virgin Mary, I have a fervent desire for a deeper knowledge of the Catholic
Faith and for others, to know its unparalleled beauty and happiness. I ask you to
intercede in facilitating a Catholic radio station to spread the Truths of the Holy
Catholic Church to the people of your city, town, or area, so that
Christ's teachings may reach their minds and hearts, and so all may come to know and love
the Holy Catholic Church.
O Most Holy Blessed Virgin Mary, I humbly ask you this so we may better learn to know, to
love, and to serve God here on earth, so as to share with Him everlasting happiness in
heaven. Amen.
